During your HydraFacial treatment, your therapist will use a handheld patented device and various "HydraPeel" attachments to vacuum out pore-clogging debris such as dead skin cells and excess oil while also delivering a mild peel and infusing skin with nourishing and hydrating ingredients such as antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and peptides.

As HydraFacial’s can be customized for your particular skin sensitivity and concern, the treatment you receive will vary slightly from person to person. For example, if you have a lot of congestion and blackheads, we may choose to focus more on cleansing your skin and extraction. For aging concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, you may receive more active ingredients like glycolic acid, which help to increase skin cell turnover and improve the signs of aging skin. To get the most out of your treatment, be sure to discuss your skin concerns with our therapists. This will enable us to formulate a personalised service that addresses your needs.

We ensure to use a patented, official HydraFacial machine

Regardless of the personalised aspect of your treatment, a HydraFacial will include the following 6 steps:

1. Detox

This step is going to increase lymphatic circulation in your skin. Better lymphatic circulation not only helps move out toxins but also increases blood flow, providing extra oxygen to invigorate the skin. The skin is hydrated and supported by fresh lymph, restoring tone and firmness.

2. Cleansing and Exfoliation

A vacuum-based abrasion tip will gently smooth away dead skin cells while delivering serum directly to the fresh new skin beneath. This serum is full of ingredients to revitalise and support your skin, such as lactic acid, glucosamine, antioxidants, and botanical extracts, all of which are customised to treat your skin's needs.

3. Brightening Agent

Now that pore-blocking old skin cells have been swept away, a glycolic and salicylic solution is applied to gently break up congestion in the pores. This will brighten your skin and at the same time prep the pores for the next step.

4. Extraction

Unlike many facials, the extraction process is very gentle. Salicylic acid and honey are used to draw out blackheads and other impurities. This is an important step to ensure your pores are clean and able to benefit from the tightening effects of the treatment.

5. Hydration

Now that your pores are clear and dead skin cells have been removed, your fresh new skin is ready to be treated. This step nourishes your skin and drenches it in moisture, with a mix of potent antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, and peptides and multi-peptides to support collagen. This step will leave your skin soft and plump with moisture, combating the appearance of wrinkles.

6. Rejuvenation

Finally, infrared LED light is applied. This will soothe your skin, reducing redness, and stimulate the production of collagen. It even helps your skin naturally produce vitamin D. You will be left with skin that feels soft, smooth, and invigorated.

Once your HydraFacial treatment is complete, we finish the treatment by applying moisturiser and SPF to lock in all of the goodness and protect your newly exfoliated skin from any harmful UV rays - unlikely at the is time of year but hey...!

As the HydraFacial treatment is extremely gentle, it's generally well tolerated by most people. However, if you have a specific health concern, for example, if you're taking an acne medication such as Accutane, or you're pregnant or breastfeeding, be sure to let your therapist know before you book in your treatment.

After a HydraFacial treatment, you'll notice an immediate improvement in your skin, as it will appear deeply hydrated and glowing. Results typically last around a week; however, you can achieve longer-lasting results by scheduling monthly HydraFacial appointments.

A series of HydraFacial treatments can improve the look of fine lines and superficial wrinkles. In order to get the most effective results, we recommend a series of three to six treatments over a three to six-month period. Maintenance treatments are also recommended if you want to keep fine lines at bay.

Several treatments pair well with a HydraFacial, such as LED light therapy. LED light therapy has been showing to have multiple benefits for the skin and can be used to highly customize and complement your HydraFacial. For example, if breakouts are a concern, combining a blue LED light treatment can help to kill acne-causing bacteria and give you even greater results. A HydraFacial can also be an excellent way to prep the skin and clear out pores before a Microneedling procedure to ensure that serums penetrate deeply and are effective as possible.
