How is EMSculpt different from Lipo Freeze?
Results from these 2 treatments are different in their respective ways. Lipo Freeze, or Cryolipolysis, is used to target stubborn fat, where EMSculpt is used to build, strengthen and tone muscle. Clients looking for a more toned look (and who are already have a lower body fat %) are great EMSculpt candidates. If clients wish to reduce “pinchable” rolls of fat, then they will likely be a better candidate for Lipo Freeze.

Does EMSculpt hurt?
EMSculpt is a non-invasive treatment and requires no recovery time. The treatment is a great option for many clients because they don’t have to prep for the treatment or follow any after-care plan. Some clients experience mild soreness / tiredness in the treated area(s), but nothing as intense as what you would feel from a traditional workout. The feeling the next day is commonly described as tired muscles, similar to how a person would feel if many sit-ups had been performed a day prior.
No! EMSculpt does not cause discomfort or even pain. The feedback we have from our clients is they say they feel a “pulling” sensation. Our therapists have total control of the treatment intensity, so clients are always treated at a level that is comfortable to them.
